Canon is a great family gift from Best Buy (Pachelbel's Canon is good too!)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my DLSR camera!  It's so fun to take pictures.  I take our family pictures each spring and fall.  Most recently, I have taken engagement and wedding pictures for 2 of my brother-in-law's.  Choosing the location for pictures is half the fun.  But probably the worst part of all is trying to find a location that is shady enough for everyone to have their eyes open, but not too shady that the picture won't turn out (will be dull, or have shadows).

Taking pictures of my husband (and his brothers) is a challenge because they just can't keep their eyes open.  Unfortunately my kids inherited this lovely trait.  As such, I have become quite proficient in finding semi shady spots for pictures.

I love my camera, and  I haven't even scratched the surface of its potential either!  (I have the
Canon EOS Rebel T2i.)
